BJ Ray was recommended by a real estate attorney we used (Jeremy McHugh, who I would also give five stars to). It was hard for me to be convinced to work with a buyer’s realtor, but I am glad we did. BJ helped us with the recent purchase of our home during one of the tightest buyers’ markets in recent history, with surprisingly little effort.

We found the home online but completed the purchase due to an unconventional tactic for approaching the sellers that BJ suggested and used to our advantage. While unconventional, it worked well, I believe largely because of BJ’s decisions about whom to approach, when, and his style of being unfailingly polite (to sellers, their realtors and us), very responsive, and also hilariously funny.

BJ was also very focused on our budget – and he didn’t try to oversell us and was not pushy. And, he has a great network of moving-related connections/recommendations. An added bonus is that he is a great chef and into local politics so if you like talking about those things, you are in for a treat.
